Hello Everyone,
Well, this has been quite a busy week. Dr.Kim was able to move mom up on his schedule and mom underwent the catheter procedure Monday. Everything went well and the doctor confirmed that the cancer is confined to the liver. Mom was so relieved to hear this as she feared they might find the cancer was everywhere. Mom is now recovering at home and happy to be free from twice weekly visits to the hospital for paracentesis.
We hope Thanksgiving was good to all of you. We had a wonderful day and mom enjoyed spending the day with her family.
Today mom will enjoy a visit with three of her five siblings! She is so loved by so many!
We are quickly approaching Christmas! Dad went out and bought a lot of new Christmas decorations for the house and with the help of his granddaughters he is merrily creating a magical wonderland in the home. He wants to make this holiday one of the best ever!!
Pray that mom will feel great through this month of December, and don't forget Dad! It is hard to be the patient and also hard to be the full time care-giver. Please keep them both close to your heart.
