Hello everyone,
Mom is now on a Thursday chemo schedule so yesterday, she finished up her 7th round! Mom and Dad have been on a nearly two week road trip. Almost two weeks ago they drove up to Scottsdale to have more fluid removed. At that time Mom had 2 liters of fluid removed. Then Mom and Dad drove over to the lake house and spent a few days there, and then back to Scottsdale for this last round of chemo. They drive home today and Mom said she is ready to get back to her house!
On a positive note, yesterdays blood results showed blood chemistry levels are finally getting to near normal ranges. The hemoglobin was low, so Mom had another booster for that but otherwise chemistry is improving! I talked to Mom yesterday and she said she was feeling pretty good, and she sounded strong so I look forward to seeing them this weekend.
Please continue to hold Mom in your thoughts and prayers. September will also bring birthday celebrations to two of Moms twelve grandchildren. Maybe she'll enjoy some birthday cake!
